Pie Oh My- Here are 10 Ways You Can Celebrate Pi Day in Milwaukee

March 14th marks National Pi Day (3.14) Maybe you’re celebrating by computing numbers, but we found a better way to celebrate. All it takes it eating pizza and pie for a reduced cost, sounds good to us.

1. Lakefront Brewery (1872 N. Commerce St.) The chefs of Lakefront Brewery will bake their best pies and you’ll be in charge of judging which one is best. Taste contest will begin at 11:00 am.

2. Honeypie Café: (2643 S. Kinnickinnic Ave.) Stop in any time between 4 pm-6 pm for HapPIE hour for fun, games, and a whole lot of pie. Performance Running outfitters will a “Pie Day Fun Run” sponsored by Brooks and Honeypie Café. So, burn those calories off before, or after enjoying a slice of pie.

3. Blaze Pizza: Blaze Pizza will be offering 11-inch personal size pizzas for $3.14 from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

4. Outpost Natural Foods: Stop in to any Outpost Foods for a cup of coffee and slice of pie duo costing $3.14. Make your choice of pies including blueberry, apple, or coconut cream.

5. Pizza Hut: For those of you celebrating the true meaning of pi day, pizza hut has a fun activity for you to participate in. Visit Pizza hut’s official website for a chance to enter a mathematic contest invented by mathematician John H. Conway. The winner of the contest will be rewarded 3.14 years of free pizza from Pizza Hut. With an award of 3+ years of free pizza, sounds like a math competition worth trying out!

6. Pilcrow Coffee: (1739 N. Dr. Martain Luther King Dr.) from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Pilcrow is offering pies, pie fries, and Frankenpies from Hatched. Celebrate Pi day with a coffee in hand and a pie in the other.

7. Pizza Man: Become the Pizza/ Pi man and stop in one of the three Pizza Man locations for your $3.14 small cheese pizza.

8. Batches: (401 E. Erie St.) Stop into Batches for a bunch of choices of pies to enjoy for, you guessed it, only $3.14 a slice. A sneak peak of the choices includes: Lemon meringue, bourbon pecan, Dutch apple, S’mores, peanut butter cup, banoffee, banana cream, and peach cobbler. Don’t want a sweet pie? There will also be personal sized chicken pot pies.

9. Tre Rivali (200 N. Broadway) There isn’t much better than a reduced price on pie, however Tre Rivali believes in eating and giving back at the same time. Stop in to Tre Rivali from 7:00 a.m. to 10 p.m. for your $3.14 slice of pie and 100% of your purchase on pie will be donated to Chef’s Cycle: No Kid Hungry, an event raising money to end child hunger in America.

10. The Tandem: Join Venice Williams, director, farmer, and minister, as she cooks up pot pies all day at the Tandem. This includes vegetarian and vegan options.
