Every day seems like a celebration when you love the city you live in, but 4/14, known as ‘Milwaukee day’ is the day we celebrate all the greatness the 414 has to offer.
The Tradition of celebrating Milwaukee on April 14th started back in 2010. The tradition is based off the Milwaukee area code “414.” The day is dedicated to celebrating the city and all the great happenings within it. There’s no prouder city than Milwaukee, we all deserve to celebrate. Below is a list of fun happenings and specials to watch out for on April 14th in honor of celebrating our city.
Drink specials:
It wouldn’t be a celebration in the 414 without drinking the city’s best local, brewed in Milwaukee. Check out participating bars for $4-$1-$4 beer flights, $4.14 beers and pitchers, and special brewery tour events. Most of these specials are running all day weather you’re starting early this morning, or need a drink after work. Some participating bars include; Pabst Brewery and Taproom, Good City Brewing, Lakefront Brewery, Great Lakes Distillery, Sprecher Brewery (Walkers Point), Milwaukee Brewing company, The Bottle, Gathering place Brewery, The Bottle, Rogue’s.
Food specials:
Celebrating Milwaukee doesn’t stop with beer specials, there are plenty of participating restaurants with amazing food specials on the special day too. Participating restaurants with 414 food specials include: The Sugar Maple, Rogue’s, Lakefront Brewery, Polomino, Honey Pie Café, Small Pie, and Purple door will offer free mini-cones of the new purple moon ice cream flavor.

Historic Milwaukee’s store on 235 E Michigan will have special 4/14 day discounts on Milwaukee items. All Milwaukee neighborhood posters (originally priced at $10) will be $4.14, Milwaukee neighborhood magnets will be buy 4 get 1 free.

Discovery World will host the first of the year’s Milwaukee Makers Market running 10 am- 4 am. The event will feature a plethora of local Milwaukee artists work.
